Lisa McClurg
Church Coordinator
Lisa and her family have been members of the Nor’kirk since 2010. She is very happy to be serving as the Church Coordinator for her Nor’kirk family. Lisa received her BBA in Economics and a minor in Marketing in 1991. She and her husband, Keny, have been married since 1988 and have two wonderful children, Jack and Megan. The McClurg family have been involved in volunteering for the Nor’kirk especially with VBS. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and children and anything involving the beach.
Dr. JeeYoon (Elise) Choi
Director of Music Ministry
Dr. JeeYoon (Elise) Choi is a professional organist and choral conductor with nearly three decades of experience. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, she studied music at Ewha Women’s University with a concentration in organ performance. In 1999, she came to the United States to study at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, where she received a graduate degree in music, before completing a doctorate in musical arts (organ performance) from Boston University. Dr. Choi spent several years working in Charleston, SC, where she founded and served as first artistic director of the Charleston International Bach Festival. In 2016, she moved to Dallas to pursue further education at SMU, completing degrees in choral conducting and theology. For the last few years, she has worked with many church and community organizations, choirs, and chamber groups of all ages. She enjoys hiking, watching Korean dramas, and trying new spicy recipes! And she’s very happy to join the church community and share in the joys and blessings of music with everyone.
